Commissioner of Accounts John Franck needs your money and the shine is off the pumpkin for Andrew Cuomo.

This Friday, John Franck will have his annual groundhog party at the Parting Glass from 5:30 to 7:70. Unlike the little political gathering at Elio Del Sette's home women can attend as long as they bring money. Franck has been holding these fundraisers for years. In fact I think I’ve been to everyone. I must still be on the guest list as I receive an invitation almost daily.

John doesn’t think much of me these days and one of the benefits of attending this fundraiser {besides getting your assessment lowered} is to hear John describe all the ways he’s “gonna get me”. The higher the level of his intoxication the bolder the threats. Election night in November from what I’m told ,he was really on a role.

I always find it amusing that during the Saratoga Housing Authority scandal Franck had no problem calling me, feeding me information and encouraging me to go after the authority. Some people just don’t like it when the spotlight turns on them. Make no mistake Franck is a blowhard. He blames the dismal state of his office on a vast conspiracy. Threatening to sue my ass {that is when he not telling me to drag my ass from the council table}
Those expecting to see the old friends of John at this party will be disappointed. Franck has new friends like Peter Martin and Brent Wilkes. After all he did everything he could to help pass charter change. Gordon Boyd {who set a record for lowest vote total ever for mayor} will be there. I understand Diana Young is back in town and moved on to fixing house assessments. I don’t know if she got the invite. Maybe someone will find the mysterious missing ph from Club Shadow that had the pictures of Franck and the attorney. Be funny if Chief Cole had those shots. Anyway some people think the Dems in this town have an image problem .Kind of wimpy. So city democratic chair Charlie Brown will be leading a Karaoke version of  Macho Man. Think of it.Franck,Wilkes,Martin and Gordon Boyd as the village people. Too funny. That is worth the price of admission.
Maybe I print out my invitation and say hello to John myself.
Remember if you go to Franck’s party he’s on the record of saying he wants to cancel all future gun shows in Saratoga. Ask him about his friend Frank Parillo, and his South Broadway deal to put a alcohol and drug treatment center in the very gateway that Franck wanted to revitalize. Or him and Manios and his business relationship with Ken Ivins he never disclosed. I can go on all day Franck, but maybe a court of law is the best place to discuss such matters and lets start with Club Shadow. Do I look intimidated Franck?

As you probably now Cuomo took a heavy hit in the polls after ramming through bullshit gun control laws. The Sheriffs PBA also practically laughed on the new gun laws in a letter they sent to the governor. Funny after hearing some of the threats Franck’s making against me. Maybe universal backround checks and a Psychology  exam might be a good thing.Especially for those with drinking and anger management issues.

Because I’m easy to find

Albany had 450 dealers at their recent gun show. Record turnout and sales. To eliminate gun shows in Saratoga springs would have a direct and indirect effect on the economy. The direct hit would be the revnue generated by the 150 dealers that were there staying two nights in a hotel, dinners, drinks, breakfast and possibly fuel as well as admission charge. Sales tax, occupancy tax for four shows produces a six figure number. The indirect effect would be possible non-control supporters might chose another venue that would have a friendly reception. As soneone stated "The numbers speak for themselves" but when the time comes the WILL NOT!!!At least Albany was not a staged political event including DA David Spares from Albany County but he sure was here for a cameo appearance with four bodyguards to be with Move-On , Joanne and Matthieson. It's a shame they created a 2 P.M. political show and took the emphasis off a peaceful genuine protest but with these people it's all about me. They will use anyone, anytime to get their agenda across. John used to be above that. At least he had the sense not to be there.

Oops! Missed half my post. From what I've been told Johnny Franck doesn't need any money. According to people I know who foiled his info he makes over $500,000 per year. Not bad for a bookkeeper. He should really look at many other comptroller reports throughout the state that were done on Housing Authorities. He would find we are far better run than those.

Cuomo's knee-jerk (emphasis on jerk) response to a tragedy somewhere else came at a good time for him, because he could get national press as a guy who gets things done (whatever that is supposed to mean). This conveniently deflected attention from what is not getting done right here in New York. Namely the fact that there are New Yorkers living in tents in freezing temperatures. Maybe if the media was a little more diligent in their reporting Andrew would have to buckle down and do the job New Yorkers are paying him to do, instead of grandstanding for national attention in hopes of being anointed as Obama's successor.

Ahhhh-- the state pension plan is doing well with its investments in gun assets. Nice play Andy. Time to think like an Italian, people.

So are the republicans set on a candidate to run against Frank? He is all about power and money. He really has abused the system we have in city hall and citizens are paying the price. Time to cycle him out.

well jt--- "The Swinging Assessor" will be swing'in November! Nice picture of Madigan(who didn't support charter change) and yepsin(who supported Charter change) and Franck (who also along with the Mctygues supported the change),well sounds like a fun filled nite of merry mint and don't forget if YOU go><.><><.> to back out of the door when leaving for your own saftey.

6:59 am-- u r misinformed. Madigan was all about charter change and was one of the three, Mathieson, Wilkes and Madigan culled by Ilene Finneran and asked to run. ALL supported charter change- was why they were on the dem ticket.

Maybe Madigan is beginning to understanding how much she is being used. Franck needed her so that could pay Breyo all the back taxes owed. He needed her to keep giving sweetheart assessment deals. Taking so much money out of the proverbial property tax pie, could not happen without Madigan's involvement.

in the last six years name all the wonderful projects that Franck has supported for the good of the community:
Some might say, exposing the bed bug situation- it was a complete political ploy John use when he was thinking of running for Assembly. Which he was planning on doing until Finneran had blackmail material on him and told him to back down.
GAPS was all about giving himself and Parillo a nice deal on assessments- to pave the way for Frank P to receive over $25,000 per month from the county on a used car dealership.

Parillo also got a sweetheart deal when the assessment on the condos at High Rock were reduced a few years ago.

Interestingly, these same condo assessments are bumped up over 200% when they are sold to an individual ( perhaps to grease the wheel for D Young to step in and lower them again). Looks like selective assessment to me.

oops I forgot Franck helped Samuels open up skate park, even though the previous years he had Marilyn Rivers- risk and safety manager shut it down.

I hear topsNbottoms turned john down for entertainment.
But the waterworks gang will be there with classic songs by Boy George, elton john, and barry manilow.
Their is also talk of several sheep, goats and a small pony.
There will also be a bearded lady in a bikini courtesy of Marilynn Rivers, the beard will be a prop but her hairy legs, ass, back, chest and pits will be on display for all to view..

Bully days are coming to an end hopefully! JT you are just the one to rid this town of this bully. Franck pushes around the weak and manipulates their thinking.

Franck is full of shit. For all his grandstanding and threats the housing Authority is still rolling around.
He drinks and gets mean and ugly. And yes you're correct he should never have a gun

I heard Frank was not running this time around. He is trying to run away from all the problems he created in and out of city hall. His wife is pissed about his whoring around town and he now is cornered like a rat. The scumbag is about to feel the heat if he continues to run.

Franck is running out of friends of course there's always the ones who are in the same boat as him, hank is the real puppet master in this show,to bad his stable only has horse's whose fortunates are going the other way, time will tell but historically speaking I think the city is getting tired of these power hungry few(democrats),even skippy thinks there dumb.Francks'wife is a sweet heart....to bad.

Fuck Franck, that rat bastard! He owes me money!

Jan 31 7:49PM "Even Skippy thinks there (they're) dumb?" Very apparent you both graduated at the low end of your English class & run with the same. "You know!"

"You know!" Once thing I DO know; Skippy DOESN'T know shit!

Dead beat politician wannabees! Hank should stay under his rock. Every time there is money to be made in backdoor deals in togatown the shit starts to rise to the top. Franck,Hank and McTygue all trying to get in on the south broadway rebuild. Gambling is coming and they want to use city to get their developments in order.
